Is there any feeling as wonderful as arriving at the beach? Our rental house wasn't available until 4 pm and we left Arlington early to avoid traffic, so we spent the afternoon exploring Corolla (more on that in later posts).
As soon as we arrived at the beachhouse, the kids ran all the way to the ocean. And I followed with camera in hand. The water was FREEZING, but none of the children seemed to notice. And so began our week . . .
Round 1, 4:00 pm - No time for bathing suits. The ocean beckons.
Round 2, 5:30 pm After the wet clothes lose their fun, bathing suits become necessary.
Round 3, 7:00 pm. - Cold wonderfulness. Glad I brought hats.
