Trying to make the best out of days when we're "stuck" inside . . .
We added superhero and construction worker outfits to the dress-up box. I'm always amused by what the kids come up with. This is P's "explorer" outfit. Obviously.
I tried making mr. yellow a plastic bag parachute using this design. It only lasted about ten minutes, but they were a good ten minutes.
Lots of cooking lately. With real and with fake food. The kids keep stealing all my pots for their play kitchen.
Lots of fixing going on. Some days the results are better than other days.
Nonstop dance parties continue (click here for our "mix tape"). Party people are in the house tonight. The other night we turned out the lights and added glowsticks because all toddlers need to rave.
In case you've ever wondered what three princesses wear outside. The prince stays inside; cold is not his thing.
F learned about MLK at school. So we watched the March on Washington as a family. Powerful stuff.
Forts are continually being constructed.
Doing puzzles is fun. Putting them away is not.
Finally, some days we do make it outside for awhile. Because hats are cute.
What have you been doing lately? I'd love to hear.
Your children are adorable. I LOVE your costume choices : ) And I really love that you watched Dr. Martin Luther King together. : )
